Educated in
the fields of the fine arts and architecture, Rob Trumbour prefers to occupy
the space between and identifies first and foremost as a maker. Recent artist residencies
include CharNorth Artist Residency in Pine Plains, New York, and the Baer Art
Center in Iceland. In 2021 Rob was awarded a Mass MoCA Assets for Artists
Fellowship and will be a participating artist in December 2021. Rob has been an
Invited artist and designer for several public installations and galleries
since 2007 throughout New England. His most recent work appeared in a solo
show, Time Is No Longer What We Know It to Be at the Outside Gallery in
North Adams, Massachusetts. In 2015 Rob served as Guest Curator for the
exhibition, Bigger than a Breadbox at the Boston Society of Architects, BSA
Space Gallery which surveyed the diverse medium of installation in both art and
architecture.

Rob completed his M.F.A in in 2018 at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a focus on installation and the time-based mediums of video, film, and sound.
