Educated in the fields of the fine arts and architecture, Trumbour prefers to occupy the space between and identifies first and foremost as a maker. He is practicing artist and Associate Professor of Architecture at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. From 2007 to 2015 Rob was othe founding director of the Boston-based design collaborative Artforming. Rob has a B.F.A in Fine Arts from the University of Massachusetts, North Dartmouth, and a Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin. Rob completed his M.F.A in in 2018 at the Massachusetts College Fine Art and Design with a focus on installation and the time-based mediums of video, film, and sculpture.
